Hello! Welcome to the great family of Shenzhen Academy of International Education! All the Chinese and foreign teachers and staff of our school are ready to welcome you. Since its establishment, SAIE has trained many seemingly ordinary Chinese students to become international school graduates favored by world-class universities. The school leadership and organization for student learning in line with international standards have been certified by the American Western Association of Schools and Colleges. SAIE becomes a Shenzhen-based International School that issues international junior and senior high school credentials and high school graduation diplomas. There is a saying in the international education community that every decision in education affects six generations. Six generations ago, our country's best young people enrolled in normal universities to devote themselves to education. I grew up at the forefront of my country's reform and opening-up in the last century. I was fortunate to have received what I thought was the best middle school education and the best teachers in a magnet second school in Guangdong. My middle school math teacher not only mastered and published detective novels, but my Chinese teacher dared to change the whole semester's Chinese class to free reading in the library. From such a starting point, I became an overseas student with a full scholarship and completed two Ph.D. degrees (Physics and Electrical and Computer Engineering) from Boston University and the University of California, Santa Barbara, under the tutelage of two Nobel Laureates in Physics. I won the President's Grand Prize of Bell Labs in the United States and returned to the motherland to catch up with the wave of globalization opened in the new millennium of our country. The genes planted by my senior educators six generations ago made me pay attention to education that touches the hearts of thousands of people. I concentrated my thinking on "How to send children to world-class universities" and implemented it in the establishment of SAIE.

Among the international schools in the country today, SAIE insists on cultivating future talents in an all-around way from science, technology, humanities, and arts and maximizes the potential energy in the engine for the future acceleration of secondary school students. It is through this concept that SAIE trains seemingly ordinary students to rank among the top universities in the world, including Yale, Columbia, Oxford, Cambridge, Northwest, Carnegie Mellon, Berkeley, etc., and also among the leading art colleges and universities in the world, including the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Berklee College of Music, Parsons School of the Arts, University of California Berkeley Arts Department and the University of Southern California, as well as the Georgia Institute of Technology Industrial Design Department that goes across Polytechnic and Arts.

The connection I have with parents and students on this platform today makes me firmly believe that SAIE can transform more children into world-class talents with excellent academic performance, global vision, and critical thinking ability to meet future challenges. I hope to lead the SAIE team to achieve a high-performing school wholeheartedly, worthy of the entrustment of parents to send their children to SAIE, such a decision that can affect six generations!
